Worship

jonah_prayerWorship services held at CBS are full of “Ruach” - the hebrew word for spirit. That is a reflection of our Conservative Jewish roots, our spiritual setting and the commitment of our congregation and its membership to making Jewish prayer accessible to all.

Our week begins with Sunday morning Minyan and culminates with Shabbat. Friday evening services are followed by Saturday morning with Torah reading and discussion.

The words on the page or the thoughts in your heart.

Services at CBS are an opportunity to express oneself collectively, as part of a nurturing congregation, and privately in a most

personal fashion. Services are conducted with a mix of both english and hebrew prayer. It is not uncommon to hear our congregants

reading as one in unison, or responsively with the Rabbi. Holidays and Festivals are all celebrated as a community, providing

an opportunity to reconnect with each other and with our Jewish traditions.
