Congregation Beth Shalom is the center of Conservative Judaism in the Santa Clarita Valley. Just 25 miles north of Los Angeles, CBS has a thirty-five year tradition of synagogue life with a nurturing Preschool, a vibrant Religious School and an active membership.

Involvement is the key to finding yourself at CBS and there are many ways to get connected.

Our Sisterhood and Men's Club are the two most active service organizations, providing a hands-on way to be a part of Temple life.

Programs, fundraisers, events and social gatherings all cement the relationships that form the community we call Congregation Beth Shalom. From Blood Drives, Gift of Life Swab events, Holiday Gift Bazaars to The World Wide Tefillin Wrap, Wine tastings, and our annual Super Bowl Party. Men's Club and Sisterhood lead by example. This is where it all begins!

Kadimah (for pre-Bar Mitzvah youth) and USY (for our Junior and High Schoolers) are great ways to get kids to experience Jewish life together, outside the classroom. The CBS USY Chapter is always well-represented in Far West Regional events.

CBS Havurah is a great way to establish life-long bonds with other member families. Activities, both social and Jewish, are planned all year long to reinforce the reason we are all here. Family first!
